Trip Overview

The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek combines two of Nepal’s most scenic and culturally rich trekking regions—the Langtang Valley and the sacred Gosaikunda Lakes. This adventure offers a perfect mix of lush forests, alpine meadows, glacial valleys, and high-altitude holy lakes, all within easy reach of Kathmandu.

The Langtang Valley is often called the “Valley of Glaciers,” with stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Ganesh Himal, and Dorje Lakpa. The trek also takes you to Gosaikunda, a sacred high-altitude lake revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Along the way, you’ll experience authentic Tamang culture, ancient monasteries, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

This trek is ideal for trekkers with a moderate fitness level who want to explore less crowded trails and experience both natural beauty and spiritual heritage. The best seasons for this trek are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November).
