Terms & Conditions

By booking a trek or using services provided by Shepherd Adventure Trekking & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. (“Shepherd Trekking”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings & Payments

  • Bookings are confirmed only after a 25% deposit of the total trip cost per person is received.
  • The deposit is strictly non-refundable.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before arrival in Nepal or in cash upon arrival in Kathmandu.
  • At present, we accept bank transfer only. Please use the following bank details:

  • Prices are accurate at the time of booking. Confirmed bookings remain at the agreed price, though prices for future packages may change without notice.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.
  • Cancellations must be done 30 days before departure.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a trek due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disasters, or political unrest. In such cases, a full refund of payments (excluding bank transfer fees and permit costs already incurred) will be provided.

3. Health & Safety

  • Trekkers must be in good health and disclose medical conditions prior to booking.

  • Shepherd Trekking is not responsible for accidents caused by negligence or pre-existing health conditions.

  • Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal liability is strongly recommended.

4. Responsibility & Liability

  • Shepherd Trekking provides experienced guides, porters, and logistical support to ensure a safe trekking experience.

  • We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or theft during the trek.

  • Trekkers are responsible for their personal belongings, travel documents, and safety.

5. Conduct & Compliance

  • Trekkers are expected to follow local laws, respect local culture, and cooperate with guides and staff.

  • Any disruptive behavior may result in termination from the trek without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including images, text, and logos, is owned by Shepherd Trekking and cannot be used without permission.

7. Modifications

  • Shepherd Trekking reserves the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time.
