The Around Annapurna Trek, also known as the Annapurna Circuit, is one of the most famous trekking routes in the world. It offers an incredible journey through diverse landscapes, from lush subtropical forests and rice terraces to arid high-altitude deserts resembling Tibet. This trek encircles the Annapurna Massif, providing dramatic views of Annapurna I (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,163m), and other towering peaks.
The highlight of the trek is crossing the Thorong La Pass (5,416m), one of the highest trekking passes on Earth, followed by a descent to the sacred Muktinath Temple and the windy Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. This trek also offers rich cultural encounters with Gurung, Thakali, and Manangi communities, making it both a scenic and cultural adventure.
